it can take up to a month. Relax

Well, i'm still waiting. On day 20 (business days). So I was wondering if i should send in my medical records or wait till i get my NOA. I currently don't have a receipt number to attention it to so does anyone think it is wise to send it in anyway or wait for NOAs. PS: Doctor's signature lasts 90 days.

Great! I wonder if the case status is supposed to show an update about this. Maybe only after they receive the biometrics?

Hi,

I have not started anything yet, but not sure where I can ask this question. My K1visa just got approved and which has feb2020-jul2020 expiration. My question is, we plan on getting married Mid-march and then how long after we get married can I file for the AOS and does it mean as long as we file before the expiration, we’re good?

TIA

You can file as soon as you are married.

Finally my check has been cashed in.  Ahh second time is the charm. Application refiled on Jan 30th , Received by USCIS on Jan 31st. Still waiting for Text/Email for the petition number.

But one piece of mind and iam happy to give that application fee.:)

Hey Donald! So turns out my application got rejected for the application fees too. How did you resend your fees? I used USPS Money Order before but they were probably confused with the way i broke it down.  I am thinking of using a cheque this time.

First time i used the G-1450 credit card payment. second time i sent a check as they destroy G-1450 when they accept or reject the application.  what did  they reject it for ?

Incorrect fees, because of the 1k money order limits, I used 3 money orders to add up to the I485, biometrics and I-130 fees. I'm guessing they didn't understand the breakdown. Did you write one cheque for the total amount or broke it down too?

Yeah that can be a confusion. Use one check per form or one check all together if you are sending them together.   $1225 for i-485 and $535 for i-130 form =  $1760 for one check
