Hi everyone would like to join the thread.

My wife came in on K1 Visa last November 2019. We got married on December. Sent the package for AOS, ED and AP yesterday via UPS. ETD will be tomorrow.

After marriage she applied for SSN and received the card 2 weeks after, that’s when she started filing the forms.

Hope all of us January filers will have a smooth process.

Good luck to you as well!

Our package was signed for this morning, so we are eagerly awaiting NOA1's.

Thank you! Really need some info and updates from every one who had to go thru this process. We did this by ourselves so we’re hoping we did it all right.

I received a text from USCIS today saying they received my application and the fee was drawn from my account, what a relief!

Thank you so much Donald120383 for suggesting to contact my bank, I was able to raise my debit card limit before they tried to process the payement for the second time.

So, to clear things out, USCIS does accept debit cards for payement.

For our story, look at my profile.

Sent package on 1/20, it was signed for on 1/22, and this Tuesday, 1/28, we received texts from USCIS with our case receipt numbers (all MSC). Nothing has arrived by mail yet, but I'm sure it takes a few more days. The "Case Was Received" dates on the online status check all say 1/22/2020. Filing fees were charged on our credit card today.

Ryan had his biometrics appointment yesterday.
He went in with passport and notice of action for Permanent Residency.
They took fingerprints and picture and then sent us home with a form they said to keep for his interview.
Took all but 10 minutes.
I wonder if the website is suppose to update now at some point ?

Good luck to all of you going through the process and wishing you all a smooth and quick journey. 😊

I called USCIS to tell them my petition was sent to NVC but I don't need a migrant visa anymore since I am in the US and doing AOS. They told me to call NVC to tell them. Called NVC today at 7AM and had to wait 1h15 to basically be told to send them an email once I have a case number...Why do we have to do the link between the two institutions!

Just wanted to ask if anyone had experienced or have a situation as ours. We received our case numbers via text messages last night. And we just found out that she missed one number to fill on i-485 it was #19 Nonimmigrant Visa Number from this Passport (if any). Will it matter since she sent the copy of her K1 Visa (with the nonimmigrant visa number on it) and the officers will see the number there? She’s upset about it cause she double checked it before sending the files but didn’t really see that part or mislooked it. Should we contact the USCIS or just wait for the RFE? She’s just worried it may be basis for denial of her application and all the hard work/money spent will go to waste.

We didn’t make it on time to be part of the Jan filers, but at least it seems that this weekend we’ll have everything we need to send out our packet. Guess I’ll be making a Feb thread. Good luck to you all.

I'm on the same boat. But it turned out that it's actually a good thing that we didn't send AOS last month cause when I rechecked everything over and over again I found some mistakes and I had time to correct them.

But I wouldn't wait too long because of new rules(

We received only two NOA1 but have 3 case numbers received thru text. ☹️ I hope it didn’t get lost. I have to wait til February 23 to email or call them about it as stated on the Case Status online. But kinda worried why I only receive two NOA1.
