I call the standard USCIS customer service number and navigate the menu until I receive a person. I’ve been told calling the NBC would do nothing, though I’m very tempted to try. As for local field office, do you have any indication that your case has moved there? 
 

The upsetting part is you filed 4 months after me and we’re in the same step... 😕

You're so right, sorry to be a bother. That is very frustrating given the gap of when we both filed 😟.

 

I don't know where our file is at actually. I was just told by ppl on this forum in the February AOS group that our file is most likely at the field office if our case says "Ready to be scheduled for interview". Our field office also is not closed and just an hour away from home. I suppose maybe I will call it directly on Monday. Thanks for the advice.

Guys, trying not to freak out here... EAD and AP have been approved on 06/16 and I haven’t gotten anything since. Not even a notice of approval. I thought for sure that they are going to send the notice sometime last week.  I am supposed to start a new job on 07/01. Any thoughts?

Congrats on the new job! I think we're still well within the time frame for receiving the card here. I received the NOAs for EAD/AP on Saturday and they sent three duplicates of each! That's right, I had eight whole letters for two cases. 😂 I imagine that the cards approved last Tuesday will arrive this week.

Thanks a lot! I hope you are right with your estimate! Lol seems like they wanted to make sure that you get your notice 😂 Unfortunately informed delivery stopped being available for my address, which fueled my worries 🙈

you should get it this week. call the 1-800-number for uscis. they usually have a better update than the case status/

Thx, didn’t know that you can call them for status updates as well! Will do, if I haven’t gotten anything by tomorrow. What calms my nerves down is that case tracker  shows  lots of approvals but only scarcely sent cards within the 500 numbers around mine

what does your online status exactly  say for your EAD ?

It now says case approved. Before that it said card is being produced and it changed on the same day to case approved.

yeah that is weird cause case approved will be first step and than the next day it changes to card produced followed by USPS picked up your mail

But thats what happened to all the other approvals around mine too. First they ware new card is being produced (the whole text was we ordered your new card) and then case approved (we sent you a notice of approval).

usually card comes after approval notices. if you havent received approval notices its a sign that card production has not happened

Informed delivery suddenly doesn’t work anymore for my address since today 😭 Hopefully I get the notices in the mail tomorrow. Glad to hear that you had the same status changes! Thanks

Does anyone here have a filing date of 1/16 or earlier and didn’t get approved yet for EAD/AP? I see a lot of people with later dates have. Is this something to worry about or just business as usual, that things progress like this?
