Filing N-400 after Divorce

Hi Guys,

I'm preparing to file for N-400 online based on 5 years rule since I was divorced last month. My I-751 was approved on May 2018 and initial I-485 was approved on 1/30/2015. Few questions.

1. Do I need to upload any other documents beside final divorce decree and front/back green card copy?

2. What are the documents do I need to take for interview? I do not have lots of documents to support my marriage since lots of them got lost after I moved out. Do USCIS still cares about those documents since I'm filing based on 5 years residency? And do USCIS have my documents that was sent for I-751?

3. I might move out of Texas. Will my case be transferred to which ever State I move to?

4. Does anyone have experience with N-400 divorce cases?

Thank you in advance.

Don't think you need it. N400 based on five year rule doesn't need this.(Experienced members can chime in to confirm)

Whatever they ask you. Look at the guidelines  for N400

3. I might move out of Texas. Will my case be transferred to which ever State I move to?

I believe so. Don't forget to update address with USCIs

4. Does anyone have experience with N-400 divorce cases?

Zero knowledge here. I'll let others will chime in.

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

Any time a GC has been obtained by marriage they can ask for proof. Will they is anyone's guess, but they have been known to ask before so you should never go in believing they won't.

Could anyone with some N-400 divorce cases chime in? The only part I'm bit worried is about evidence. I don't have a lots of them.
