On the text message I received, not an EAC as other people mentioned here. Does anyone know anything about this? Thanks!!

The first three letters indicate the USCIS service center which is processing the petition, as follows:
– EAC – Vermont Service Center;
– WAC – California Service Center;
– LIN – Nebraska Service Center;
– SRC – Texas Service Center.

MSC for National Benefits Center

I just got a text message that my case was received! I got a WAC number as I expected, so I guess I'm in for a long wait.

I sent a lot of pages and most of them them were bank statements because I couldn't figure out a way to print out quarterly statements, so I just printed out all the monthly statements for 2 and a half years, all the mortgage statements, the deed to the house, and around 24 pictures, mostly from trips we've taken. Hopefully it's enough.

What is a WAC number? My husband hasn’t even been here 2 yrs yet so we only had those certain things and we haven’t gone on any trips. I didn’t know I could’ve sent pics! Ugh I guess the wait is on. So what happens when his green card expires in April? Do they send a extension one? I feel this is so annoying as he will be eligible for citizenship next April

Hello everyone! I am on my I-751 journey as well! I sent my package on January 20th and the Phoenix office received it on January 22nd around 9am in the morning. Today, January 28th, I received a message from USCIS that they received my case and I also saw that the check was cashed. I am hoping for a smooth process with no RFE’s... Good luck everyone!

This is when I sent mine too but I haven’t heard anything yet. Good Luck

Yeah we didn’t send excessive amounts either.

I have investment funds with our address and names, life insurance, health insurance, retirement funds with beneficiaries, our sons birth certificate, some cc statements we use together, joint savings, car insurance policy, and our license with our addresses on them. Boarding passes for international trips together. Pictures at big events. At best it was 60 pages.

I bought my my house before I met my husband and never updated anything not even my married name on the mortgage or title because life gets busy. So I am hoping the information we submitted is enough. They will let us know if we need more.

Yeah I feel now like I didn’t send enough but that’s all I had. My husband hasn’t even been here 2 yrs yet and i didn’t know I should’ve sent pictures. Well I guess we wait and see.

Same boat. I've been here less than 2 years too, so just sent what I had. And we don't have a car or house or kids, so not a whole lot. I just sent our apartment lease and joint bank account and health insurance, as well as travel itineraries. I did send pictures but not many.

As I’m reading more...do you know..does everyone have to have an interview and are the spouses allowed to be there?

A WAC number means that my case was sent to the California Service Center, not surprising since I live in California. And yes, they're supposed to mail you an extension letter.

I don't know how important pictures are, I just decided to send them since I have a lot of them, with his family, with my family, from various trips. I actually enjoyed putting them together because it reminded me of the moments we've had together. I put them on a Word document in chronological order and I added comments about where and when the picture was taken. No idea if it will make a difference.

Oh ok. Yeah since my husband has been here we haven’t been on a vacation or made it back to Egypt to visit his family yet. All we do is work lol. Is there a preferred service center to get? I live in MN.

Not everyone has to do an interview but I've heard there is a new rule that if you never got interviewed in the US you'll likely get an interview. It looks like you came on a CR1 Visa, so you'll probably be assigned a MSC case number and you'll have an interview. Your spouse is required to be there. You can check out the thread format the MSC cases here.

Oh, and about my previous post about the photos - at my AOS interview the officer spent a lot of time looking at our photos and he asked us questions about the places we had been to (in a friendly way), so I think photos are good.

Not everyone has an interview. My case got sent to the National benefits center (MSC) though, and from reading that thread on this forum it seems a lot of people who get that service center are CR-1 visa holders and most get interviewed. Not sure though. And I think if we do get interviewed it would be both the spouse and beneficiary.

Yeah I’m the petitioner and my husband came last April on a CR1 visa so he has never been interviewed here in the US. So..we should expect an interview then? Can or do we need the evidence and pictures for the interview too? Maybe then I can gather more proofs

I think you will definitely need to bring new evidence with you if you get an interview. That's a long wait from now though and you might still get approved without it.

Ok and I meant to say he came April of 2018. So  how long is the usual wait time?
