Congrats! Did you guys have an interview? What was your initial visa before receiving your conditional green card?

So mine was an adjustment of status case, I entered the country on a tourist visa. I had the i485 interview before we got the conditional green card and we got called for a second interview before that was approved, but when we got to that second interview they told us it was a mistake and that they were approving us. Two years later we applied for the condition removal in January and now we got approved without interview for the i751

Hi everyone!

I am a January 2020 ROC filer (CR1 case). I just called USCIS and got to talk to their 1st Tier agent.

I am in CA, and my ASC center will be USCIS San Jose (95050). She confirmed that I should expect a rescheduled bio appt. within 90 days from when they reopened. This ASC office opened on July 13th. I just used a calendar calculator (removing weekends and holidays), and it turns out I should be expect a reply by Nov. 18th (or I can call).

I thought this could be helpful to anyone based in CA. It appears they have a list for the pending bio appts. and the agent confirmed 'that I am in the list, but still within normal time.' However, I really hope it takes less– Anyone here has gotten their appt. rescheduled? Mine was supposed to happen on April 2nd.

Hope you have a great week 🙂

Hi everyone!

That's great news! We filed our I-751 around the same time you did and we're in San Jose so our ASC will the SJ office as well, but we haven't heard any updates since we received our Notice of Action back in January.

Did your online MyUSCIS case update now that your biometrics appointment has been scheduled? Ours is still at "My Case was Received."

Hi there!

I had been checking everyday since Nov. 1st and also today, but the website only shows my last update from back in February 7, 2020.

I don’t think they’ll alert you using the web app. You’d want to make sure you use the USPS service— this is how I got to see the picture of this incoming letter. They scan it, and I get emails showing what will come to my mailbox.

I read somewhere that signing up for phone/text alerts can be accurate too. I don’t know how to do that, and I couldn’t figure out how to enable that service yet.

04/20/17 - Sent I-130 package

Got it. Looking at your timeline, I'm guessing the February 7 update was regarding your transfer notice to the National Benefits Center? So the web app never showed anything regarding your biometrics appointments (your appointments back in March/April and even your new date in December)?

We use USPS Informed Delivery as well -- I've been watching it like a hawk for the past several months.
