USPS lost the biometrics appointment mail

I think the post office lost the biometrics appointment letter. I have Usps informed delivery and got an email with the scanned version of the letter but I still haven’t gotten it. It has been more than 10 days at this point, and we are freaking out that we might miss the biometrics appointment. When we call uscis, they tell us there’s nothing that was sent out. Anyone who’s been in this situation? We don’t know what to do.  An we just walk in to the nearest center and ask?

It probably wont. Ours didn't change when biometrics letter was sent. It only changed after my biometrics was completed. But I needed the biometrics letter to get them done. Hmmm. Not sure how the OP should proceed.

Did you go to your mail dashboard and clicked on "I didn't receive this mailpiece" yet?

I have some missing mail from informed delivery too and did that but no update on it yet so I can't tell if it actually works but it couldn't hurt to try.

How did you contact the officer ? And how much time it took to reissue you a new appointment letter? Mine also lost in mail and we are 2 months late after our appointment date. Do not know what to do !!

My husband's arrived late 3 weeks after his appointment date so he missed his appointment late December last year. We sent out a letter the day explaining and just got his appointment this month!
