Hello VJ Friends!

I am getting very conflicting info on other forums and am hoping to settle my questions in this specific topic :help:

I am a USC living in Brazil. My husband (beneficiary) and I have lived here for the last 8 yrs.

I am trying to sort our financial documents for the NVC stage.

Seems that my work income will not count, since it will not be transferred to the US.

I do file US taxes yearly but this is all based on my work income from Brazil.

1) Should I even be bothering meeting the 125% above poverty line?

2) Should I only be concerned about showing financial assets?

If this question has already been asked, please shed light into where I can find this info. I´ve searched everywhere.

Thank you all!

1. Since you're not domicile in the U.S, so a join sponsor is needed.

2. If your assets in U.S meets the requirement, then you can used it.

The big question is your domicile since you had been living in Brazil for years.

You can use your assets to sponsor.

Will you be moving back first?
