You have to fill out the DS260 before you can upload documents, then you’ll submit all of the required docs

Not sure if that's even the case at this point. Since we haven't seen any quick DQs from any region in a while.. Everybody seems to be taking long now

I remember someone who submitted in early January already got DQ. Too lazy to go back 69 pages though lol

I don't know the answer but please be careful in using the EZ version. I remember people in these threads have been requested to use the regular i864 form even though they qualified gor i864EZ.

Quick question.  Thinking about the affidavit of support.  If the sponsor didn't yet fill out 2019 taxes, would it be okay to submit 2018, 2017, and 2016?  Or do I need to wait until they file 2019 taxes?  Thanks!

You can do 2018, 2017,2016 but they suggest also bringing 2019 to your interview.

I’d agree with the above, @Jmeleecur, it would be safer to avoid the EZ, we qualified to use it but we’re asked to resubmit the regular i864, which has cost us, what looks like an additional 9 weeks.

I am worry now as I submitted i864ez, my document have not been reviewed yet. But I already had to upload another i864ez as my husband put electronic signature so we changed it to INK signature. But now I am scare after reading your comments, not sure if should change it again or just leave it😅😅😅😅

good at least you guys did it early then having to wait and yeah same for me... though I hope they still accept it I hate waiting back in line for re submitting documents.

Sorry our comments are making people worry, ultimately it is your decision to either wait and see if you get DQ/RFE, or upload again, just sharing info I read on this thread, or perhaps the December NVC filers thread.

They told us we didn't qualify, but wouldn't say why. I wouldn't panic though, I'm convinced it's due to us both living overseas until recently and my husband having recently changed jobs. I.e he submitted 2017 taxes,  and employment verification letter with pay stubs for 2019. then an exemption for 2018 due to being overseas.

Hey Tofu, and Everybody,

I have a silly question : the affidavit of support concerns the petitioner. When you write, Tofu (and I've seen others) that these documents (taxe transcripts, W2, etc.) have to be taken to the Embassy for the itw, it means that the petitioner will have to send these documents -in their original versions-  to me (in France) to add them to the file for the Embassy? (since I heard we need to bring to the ITW all the documents (originals) that are uploaded.

Thank you for the advice @RPC , still a bit unsure on what to do. VJ is a good source of information but sometimes leaves us a bit confused. I’ll think about it

it clearly says here, if you are qualifying to use I-864EZ. I do not think we have to worry about it. There might be reason behind asking for another form.
