Ok update: I asked my mom to call the NVC and keep me on FaceTime so I could speak with them on speakerphone. That worked. We waited about an hour and a half.

The representative said that our case is document qualified but that my income doesn’t meet the guidelines. We talked about my foreign income continuing when I get back to the states - my company is moving me back and the income and source will remain the same. I submitted all of this proof with my tax transcriptions.

I was told that the NVC cannot make decisions on our type of situation and they leave it up to the Embassy to decide to accept or not.

So after 531 days, on my son’s 15th birthday, we are DQ!

Yeahhhh bravo! Aftter such a long wait!

Anyone else CEAC not working? I received 2 emails from from the NVC one says Document Qualified, the other, sent a minute later, says to login and check the messages. I have logged in and see incomplete under my AOS, but when I click on it to see what is the problem it gives me an Application Error and kicks me out of the site. When I click on messages, nothing loads.

I tried it on 2 devices, 2 internet browsers. My attorney’s office gets the same errors.

Tried calling NVC and can’t get through. Guess I’ll try again tonight. Anyone have an overseas calling app that’s better than Skype? This is costing a fortune to call and get the automated message and call dropped.

At least they drank their coffee this morning, but the web tech people went a little

overboard and broke everything. lol. If you don’t laugh, you’ll cry.

Viber is super cheap. $3 for 157mins to USA!

Hi everyone. Happy New Year. I hope you all enjoyed the holidays. We submitted our documents on 12/23 and no DQ yet. Not like I'm expecting anything, since the process was bound to slow down in this season. However, I still held on to hope just because we have been going through this visa process for so long. We got approved for a conditional expedite and I'm just wondering if anyone here (or anyone you know) knows if the document review time takes less time for those with conditional expedites? I know there is not much of a pattern with NVC but I wanted to get a feel of what others have been experiencing.

We submitted ours on Dec  24.. Let me know you're DQ, hopefully i will be next :)

Hello all.  So still waiting for CEAC to show that I paid.  I was wondering if we can fill out affidavit of support and immigrant visa app on the same day or not or if one should be filled out before the other?  Thanks!

Did they label his AOS as incomplete with the explanation that it will be the Embassy decision? It’s all so odd to me.

Yes , they said that my husband didn’t meet the minimum income requirement  to sponsor me , to find a joint sponsor and that the embassy will take the decision at the time of the interview .

1st review - no problem

2nd review - not enough income ..

they first ask additional documents on the 01/21 and finally DQ , all documents accepted  on 01/23 .

all of that is odd but I give up trying to understand how it works lol

Well, at least we are in this boat together! The income is far above the minimum and I have official letters from my employer explaining the job transfer. I guess the NVC just knows how to handle petitioners that live and work in the US. I didn’t realize that this kind of life was an odd situation til today. Haha!
