Ours has been sitting on a supervisors desk for two weeks now and still nothing.. it could be that they still ask us to upload the same document again and wait for its review.. again 😤

on a side note, we did get confirmation that resubmitted documents go back to the back of the review line where they re-review all documents submitted, even those previously accepted.. guess we now know why it takes so damn long.

This means if one of your civil documents gets rejected, an Affidavit of Support originally approved before April 15th could be rejected if your application is reviewed a second time after April 15th.

Now wonder we have these wonderful backlogs.

The link below says it's still blocked. However, they might not have updated it yet.

Hello everyone,

Hope is well. I have a question regarding AOS. If I am submitting Tax transcripts from my last recent tax year for financial evidence, do I need to include my W-2’s? Thanks.

Same here, but I don't trust their process time. So allow a full week before calling them (we paid early Wed Jan22nd and it still says "in process"... I will probably call on Thursday 30th) :(

I have been calling the NVC to ask the status of my payment but it keeps dropping my call due to high volume of calls.

Justino

I included my W-2 forms in the Additional AOS Supporting Documentation.

According the chart thing, I only needed to submit a copy of the transcripts.  But I also submitted my complete 1040 forms. So that might have done it for me.

(Sorry I know that help answer your question.) But I can't see why it hurt any.

edit: my application was approved

Anyone else CEAC not working? I received 2 emails from from the NVC one says Document Qualified, the other, sent a minute later, says to login and check the messages. I have logged in and see incomplete under my AOS, but when I click on it to see what is the problem it gives me an Application Error and kicks me out of the site. When I click on messages, nothing loads.

I tried it on 2 devices, 2 internet browsers. My attorney’s office gets the same errors.

Tried calling NVC and can’t get through. Guess I’ll try again tonight. Anyone have an overseas calling app that’s better than Skype? This is costing a fortune to call and get the automated message and call dropped.

At least they drank their coffee this morning, but the web tech people went a little

overboard and broke everything. lol. If you don’t laugh, you’ll cry.

Hey everyone. I’m submitting everything tomorrow. I was thinking I’d hear back mid-March. Does this seem like a realistic expectation?

There’s a group tracking Canadian applicants. It’s, on average, taking 4-6 months to hear back with an interview letter unfortunately. I’ll see if I can find the group so you can ask to be a part of the private chat where there is some really good/specific info.

Hey, I’m in that group actually, thanks! I was wondering how long for DQ from submission date rather than interview :)

Sorry if this is covered elsewhere - I am just doing some last minute checks before I submit everything on CAEC.

Can someone please clarify how far back we need to go on trips to the USA? My attorney stated we only needed to describe our 5 most recent stays in the US. Wasn’t sure if that sounded accurate or not. For me, that wouldn’t even cover all of my trips visiting my husband / meeting his family.

thanks.

Oooh sorry! It’s crazy, 2 months for DQ and then another 4-6 for the interview. This whole process hurts, haha! Good luck with the documents, we are starting that this week too.
