We gonna ask the withdrawal of our case .
we are at 18 months since we start the process ..
enough is enough ..

Always something wrong

yours is 18 months, mine will be 2 years on Feb 15th, have not got the DQ yet, not sure how long will take to receive  IL . I am not giving up, but it makes me frustrate.

mine is « just » 18 months because they lost my first package ..

Everyone is different and have different reactions .ive been trough a lot last year I was praying for 2020 starting better ..
we will not resubmit over and over .
when you do what they ask and they are taking 50 days or more to tell you whats going on . Arrive a time where enough is enough .

Hello everyone!  Finally, NVC emailed me my husband's case # and invoice ID # after approval by USCIS by three months!  I'm so excited and happy to start the NVC process. I paid Affidavit of Support as well as IV application fees.  The "Start Now" button for Affidavit is blue, as opposed to the IV "Start Now" button, but its not clickable.  Is this normal?  What should I do?  Also, is the IV application the DS 261 or the choose an agent?  Because I didn't see either of those.  Thanks so much for all your help!

It took 3 days for me for it to be clickable, and I just paid last week In the meantime you can make sure all your civil documents are scanned in and make sure you know all the answers to the DS-260 (look up an online form/the old paper version).

Are you serious, I am the one from New Zealand. I had to get a new profile. I feel like we are going through the same. That is crazy.

i'm sorry to hear about this :(

instead of withdrawing your petition, you could also just let it sit at NVC in case you change your mind later. your petition is valid for one year since the last time you had contact with them

I believe at least you guys can see each other easily and travel to US/France whenever you want.  I have to get days off from work which is just 2 weeks in a year and she can not  travel to US ( they do not give visa). Imagine how hard it is.  True, they do not care what happens to us but we simply can not give up and  you gotta call them until they receive the call.

Thanks!  In regards to scanning your civil documents and all paperwork, did you use a regular scanner or did you use an app on your phone or tablet?  I don't have access to a regular scanner easily, so I thought I'd ask about specific apps.

Someone on facebook says you have to call them as soon as they open, and keep calling. Also to ask for a supervisor.
