so should I go ahead and re submit my marriage certificate in one file? since everyone is saying do all one. I did all three as separate for nikkah narma urdu , English and nadra  registration separate file will they decline it or should give a call and see what nvc says? Will do so right away if I need to do that way is not to late.

When did you submit your documents? Has it been a while? I saw one person on the forum who  said they had to resubmit the documents together, so that might be the best option, but if you're close to being reviewed, it might be worth waiting.

I submitted on 12/31/2018 for second re submission since it was rejected first time cause I only had put the true translation. I am going to go ahead to put in one pdf since , I not want to wait that long again.

After almost 60 days, I received our case update. Unfortunately it was not DQ. I confess that after so long without response, I am already happy because at least now I know what to do correctly. And let's go again...  😥

Day 50 for us, I’m feeling the same way. At least hearing that I need to do something or fix something is better than silence. Radio silence is killing me.

My son’s 15th birthday is coming up at the end of this month. It’s day 339 since he left to go to the USA ahead of us.

This entire process is just mind-numbing. I’m trying every day to just not think. We can’t plan, can’t move ahead in anything, it’s just a prison that we can’t escape from. I guess I could escape, I could cancel the whole petition (again) but then I would lose living near my son and lose my job. Every choice is the wrong one! :(

Well, actually, I was expecting that answer. We're Brazilians and my husband is an American's son. However, he never lived in the United States until 2019 when we decided to embark on this adventure. So he had no tax returns in previous years. Even though he made a lot of money of what they ask, I believe that because he did not have his taxes declared yet, he was not accepted and now we will need a co sponsor. That's bad because we'll have to ask for help, he has no relatives there. Another reason is because they didn't accept my Brazilian certificate because it has a new model and they said it is not accepted. So I'm going to send a very old one that I already had before I made a new one. And the silliest mistake I made was sending the I184 in an editable way. I feel dumb about this mistake but I'm already fixing it. I did it all by myself and I confess it was a lot for me the moment I sent it. On the other hand the other documents were accepted including the statement of why he has no tax yet. This all served as an apprenticeship and they are fixable. We will move on from here!

AOS FORM: This document is password protected or contains an editable PDF form. Please replace this with a scan that is not password protected/editable.

means I didn't save it just for reading.

Hi our case was updated today...

My husband uploaded his employment verification letter in required doc section where income tax return was supposed to be...

our tax return was rejected and the msg was to upload most recent transcript or explanation for not filing.

Question- should I submit our explanation for not filing (he was unemployed for the tax period) in the same place where the income tax was..there is an option to replace document or delete document ?   Or should it be in the additional docs section?

Also...

Our joint sponser tax return was also rejected with the same message attached...

Joint sponser's tax return and w2 were submitted together

Do you think that was the reason should I do them separately or do they require the transcript as stated in the msg?

Thanks guys
