1. What is your name?

2. Where did you meet?

3. When did you last visit the US, and how long did you stay?

4. Is this your 2nd marriage? Show me the divorce certification.

Congrats! Depending on your embassy there may be a few months wait time for an interview so I wouldn’t schedule medical until you get interview letter; most medical offices won’t even let you schedule your medical before IL for that reason, because your medical is only good for 6 months and your visa will only be good for 6 months from the medical date

Hi Guys,

i recently had 2 documents rejected by NVC. Today i re-submitted the documents but the date of the original submission is still showing and not the new one (18 November) is this normal ??

I am waiting from NZ but I just had my Australian police certificate rejected again.  I previously submitted the wrong one but I then uploaded the one they wanted which is the correct one certificate and it was again rejected. What are you supposed to do when the correct document is rejected!??

Ok finally got a response from NVC.. initial submission 14 Nov.

all documents accepted except 1.. one of my police certificates.. note says please attach appropriate certificate 🙄

I checked the one we submitted, is the correct one and nothing wrong with it.. so I got hubby to call NVC and ask... the lady looked at it and said it’s correct and can’t see a problem, so has refurred it to a supervisor for review.. we now been told not to do anything and wait for an email in 1-2 weeks.. 😑

Hi, the same has happened to me. What was the outcome??

I had same incident. So i called NVC. They said they received it on the date you submitted. I would still call them to confirm.
