Can be up to 6-8 weeks

Thank you it’s about 5 weeks since I resubmitted hopefully it won’t be much longer.
is the wait now just as long to receive a interview date as well?

Does anyone know if NVC will accept tax transcripts that have name, address, and SSN masked? I downloaded tax transcripts online and it only shows the first 4 letters of my first & last name, and my address only show the street number.

Should I request tax transcripts in person?

From my experience, they're okay with that, just make sure to attach a W-2 form in the supporting documents section. That's where I tripped up my own application - tax transcript was accepted, but I didn't include the W-2, so they asked me to upload it (and now it's another waiting game for me 😂).

I won't claim to be an expert on these things, though, others would probably have better info about it. 😀

The wait for an interview date depends on your country and its interview backlog

  • Sep 19 2019: I129f NOA2 (Denied - 50 days from NOA1)
  • Sep 19 2019: I130 NOA2 (Approved - 217 days from NOA1)

NVC Stage:

  • Sep 27 2019: Sent to Department of State
  • Oct 31 2019: Case number received (34 days since sent)
  • Nov 1 2019: IV & AOS fees received & paid
  • Nov 14 2019: IV & AOS submitted
  • Dec 18 2019: All docs accepted, but one additional doc requested (5 weeks from submission)
  • Dec 18 2019: Requested doc submitted
  • Feb 19 2020: Documentarily Qualified (9 weeks from 2nd submission, 14 weeks from first submission)

Interview Stage:

  • Mar 11 2020: Interview letter received
  • Apr 1 2020: Interview date
  • Mar 17 2020: Interview cancelled due to COVID-19
  • August 3 2020: Rescheduled letter received, new appointment August 25 2020
  • August 25 2020: Visa approved at interview! (558 days from NOA1)

I think they’re fine. We submitted tax transcripts like that and we were DQ on our first submission. My husband requested to receive them by mail. They show only four letters of our last names, the last 4 numbers of SSN and the street number and one letter of address. We also submitted the W2

To add to this it's done this way on purpose for privacy reasons and says so in the instructions on the transcript itself.

Interesting! I assumed that was the reason they were like that when I first saw them, but since I have seen questions about it here on VJ I wasn’t sure :P

We Submitted our packages Yesterday to the NVC. Does the NVC take the same amount of time to review CR1/IR1 documents like the I-129F K1 documents?

The NVC sends out shipments twice a month - one in the beginning of the month and one at the end of the month to the consulates. We hope to get an answer early February and catch the first shipment of february.

Hello,

recently NVC is taking about 2 months to review cases . They are currently working on documents they received in November 7th .
Then it’s the “official “ version . They are working randomly and some people are reviewed faster as you can see if you looks at this thread .
but for now it’s better to expect 2 moths before being reviewed Like that if you are reviewed before it’s great !
i am at the end of my 6th since resubmission and no answer yet ( I am from France ) .

i hope you gonna get reviewed soon ! 🤞🍀
have a good day !

Do you know why they also needed your W2? Did you filed as married filing jointly? Because I thought they prefer tax transcripts over W2 and tax returns in the instructions.
