Ugh... waited for an hour to be advised that after very nearly 2 months they still haven’t reviewed our case.. 😢😢😢😢 so still waiting..

on the up side, she was a lovely lady and asked about the fires in Aus sending best wishes..

There's no point calling NVC until your case has reached two months. They're just going to tell you they haven't reviewed it yet. Save those hours of waiting until at least the 15th has hit. I'm the 14th, no response either yet.

Every quick DQ I've seen is from Africa. There's a definite trend there.

Good to know, thanks 🙂

Hopefully you'll get yours fast as well. :)

I'm gonna have to wait a year until interview is assigned after DQ so the sooner my docs get accepted the better! Thanks 🙂

Hi VJ family,

Anyone from France waiting for DQ?

its like some countries get reviews way faster .

don’t know what to expect for my country since I am at 37 days since 2nd submission and still nothing ..

just to think waiting again like a full month for them to review and maybe ask again some additional documents is awful ..

Anyone know of a good time to reach NVC by phone in the middle of the day? I can´t ever get to the phone at their 7am opening... I keep calling during the day but it goes straight to their recorded message saying to call at another time. And each call is money.

Thanks!

Hello.  Can someone tell me if I have this right?  I am using my dad as a joint sponsor.  We do not live in the same physical address.  Both my dad and I filled out separate I-864 forms.  Since my mom lives with my dad, she filled out the I-864A.  My dad does NOT have to fill out an I-864A form, right?

I've only been able to get through at 7am (waited for 25 mins and got connected), 8am (waited for 40 mins then hung up because I had to go to work), and 10pm (waited for 1 hour then hung up because I had to go to bed).  Never in the middle of the day.

press 1 and 2 after it rings.

Unfortunately this doesn´t work when the recorded message comes on (which is different than their automated service that appears when you call early, at 7am). Pressing numbers does nothing. They say the message to call back at a later time and hang up ☹️

Just keep calling and calling until it rings at the beginning and then stay on the line for the menu

7 weeks today and still no DQ 🙃 😩

Country - Canada

I feel you. Nov 14th for me (Canada) and still waiting. There was someone who was Nov 20th and got their DQ last week, so holding out hope we get it this week. But, I'm getting the sense it's going to take the full two months.
