You are absolutely right. This is so ridiculous!! Almost a year in Nebraska and now this....I'm at 7 weeks since first submission at NVC.

Plus I have the added bonus of a consulate that is running 5-6 months for interviews but that is only after DQ which who knows if I get approved on the first try or not.

It's so hard to not be depressed in this process. Ugh!!!!!

Yes ridiculous and inhuman !!

344 days in Nebraska , then first submission reviewed between 5/6 weeks . 2 nd submission still nothing .
Plus there is nothing telling us this or that because some are reviewed within few days when some like us in almost /or 2 months .

oh wow .. so sorry for you , which consulate ?
France is pretty fast (within 2 months from IL to interview )

i hope for you you gonna be DQ at first submission !!

i am one of the luckiest because my husband is longing with me , but we put everything on hold waiting being able to move !!

But trust me to see how they treat us make me feel so sad and angry ..

Im totally fuming at this whole process!!! Just got a message that my step daughter doesn't qualify for I-864W and to send in new financial papers.  She does qualify because her father is now a citizen since July 2019 and she is only 10. She was 5 at the time of our marriage!!  What the heck is wrong with these people??? Guess I will try and contact a tier 2 rep to see if I can get some help.  Been waiting since November 7, 2019 to hear something.  My poor girl is gonna cry her heart out that it's gonna take even longer to get her here 😡:ranting:

Montreal.

Thanks...I hope your DQ will come soon!!! I feel the same way. I know what you mean about having everything on hold.

We were told 6-12 months total, haha what a joke. We were living together here and my husband moved back November 2018 thinking my son and I would be down in 2019 yet here we are still waiting. I really don't want to spend another year apart...

I know how you feel. My son is so mad at me right now. He's a teenager and has had to put his life on hold (as all of us do) but he's too young to understand all this.

It seems like they just rush through and kick everything out. Good luck in trying to sort it out!

11/16.

Wow we submitted on the 15th of Nov. I really truly hope we get ours soon too, the whole process began on the 21st of Sept 2018 and I'm so tired of this! An RFE will break my heart! ;(

My consulate is Bahrain, is there anyone out there with a Manama consulate?

I really think the country also plays a role in how soon we get it approved!
