Yeah girl you can carry a purse but no backpack.  Either way if you can’t carry it in, there is a lady that will be directly across the street that you can leave it with and she gives you a ticket or something.

Girl, tell your husband to dress comfortable and you do the same!!! People go there like they going for a job. The key thing is to be presentable. No suits required. Personally I had on some leggings with a shirt and put my long throw like sweater on and some Toms.  I found to to be very comfortable both in and out of the building!  My husband had on jeans and a polo.

Definitely, you may be there for a few hours why not be comfy! Don’t Brinkley any types of nail clippers tweezers and pens.  They make you discard them!

Why would u need a joint sponsor when u are well above the line.

I sure wouldn't worry about it.

I guess because I've read of some people being asked to get a sponsor even with them making over qualifying limit. I guess I wonder how that can happen.

Got it, nothing sharp or pointy. Literally my bag is only gonna have the papers, maybe a book. Hubby and I can chat and be bored/anxious together

What do you mean if "the DQ is from NVC or Embassy"? You are at NVC. Embassy has nothing to do with your case until after NVC schedules your interview then sends your petition to embassy for interview.

Thanks for the clarification! :)

I definitely believe that!! I spoke to the receptionist yesterday and she was pretty much saying, why are you calling me.  I wanted to jump through that phone because I am like you are useless, even if you cannot/will not answer me, you can still pretend by saying something more pleasant.

just hang in there, you will smile very soon ok...... everything is going to work out just fine

Girl!!! I don’t know what I would do without you!!! You have truly been a blessing with helping us through this process!! I received an email at 2 stating that his visa was in the process of being printed and that the courier will be given his package once it has been completed.
Then I happened to check the status for some crazy reason and it says “ISSUED!!!”  I want to cry but I’m so glad this is done for now!!!

Your 🙏🏽 really helped me so much!!

Will definitely be keeping everyone updated as well as paying it forward for the next waive of us.

congratulations, finally the wait is over

What type of questions will be asked at the interview? Also should the sponsors write a letter on how we will support?

Exactly, and to be honest we were people watching trying to identify those that got approved and denied.  It kept us occupied as we was there from 645 to about 1030ish.
