@Bking @Sea Leslie both of you need to sit back and chill. Log off from VJ and come back with Visa update. There are some of us just waiting for the IL.

LOL!

I am chill, the only way I am getting updates is when someone post something new. I really have not been researching anything on VJ for a few days.

Hey all I've thought of something.

I make over the the qualifying income. About 27,000 a year gross. But it's not a ton over. We have never been asked to provide a joint sponsor ect. But I've read some here and there of people getting asked to provisw a joint sponsors at the time of interview? Is this usually typical? Should I have a joint sponsor ready just in case? I thought NVC would have told us if we needed one. I've been at the same job for 7 years and have gotten a raise even if small every year. I have health insurance 401 k ect. Is this something I should be concerned about at  all?

they send petitions to embassy in bundles and since they still were scheduling up to friday. It can be a 1 to 2 weeks. It just depends. Then 3 to 5 days to say READY.

It's not like when i filed in 2015 where you could actually track your petition to the embassy. It's all electronic now. So all you can do is watch your status.

Creating the profile is not required. Lagos doesn't require you to make an account. You can;t track at Lagos. So don't worry about creating an account. Some countries you do. Nigeria isn't one of them.

Thanks lady!

Thanks as always though because I thought you just went up to whoever was available and they did the questions there

Checked my case status and it said last updated today but nothing else has changed it says ready and I just completed the medical on Friday past. Anyone have suggestions or am I looking into it too much?

Hi! And where do you go to check if your status has changed? I got my CC on 1/10/2020 but when I log in my status has not changed.

Is this the same page you go to check?

Thanks, I've tried that and this is what it says (attached)

It does not say if there have been any changes

Why would u need a joint sponsor when u are well above the line.

I sure wouldn't worry about it.

After lurking for a few months, we finally get to join this thread!

Received DQ today along with another email that said to check status. When logging into the CEAC my affidavit of support showed incomplete. The messages and the website would not load details, it would log me off the website when I checked, so with the help of my mom, FaceTime and speakerphone, we called the NVC. The rep said that because my income was foreign, they weren’t able to make a decision on it, even though it will continue in the US as my company is transferring me back. The NVC is giving it to the Embassy to decide on if it’s acceptable. It should be, I’m way over the minimum requirements. I submitted this proof of continued income with all of the other financial documents. The rep said don’t upload any more documents because it could delay things, on their side of things everything said complete.

Has anyone else had this same experience?

531 days waiting, my son’s 15th birthday is today! What a great birthday gift that we are closer to being together again!

embassy: Phnom Penh, Cambodia
