 I guess my first question would be if you are IR1/CR1  or IR2/CR2 like my case is?

Just got my IL email for interview on February 28th, 2020 Port of Spain Trinidad & Tobago🙏🏽 
DQ January 6th, 2020.

This is my rule of thumb whatever you submitted for financials tax the other. Meaning if you submitted W2 and Tax forms bring Tax transcripts. If you uploaded tax transcripts bring W2 and Tax forms. Just in case.

I totally understand. Just think in less then a month hubby will have Visa in hand and probably home. Will you be filing back with him?

I suppose you're right but the information is so scattered and hard to follow at times. That's why I'm so happy to have the support from other individuals on VJ who have been through this... and the fact the everyone's case is unique makes if more difficult to understand.

They last looked at his case on the 21st so I am assuming it will be 7-10 business days from that now.

I have seen Jamaica do this don;t know why especially with those darn medicals. They can be just ridiculously slow. Hang in there.

Oh, yes... Marriage is a challenge in itself. I just started thinking today about how he is going to leave his family behind and everything that he knows. He is also making a huge sacrifice. I never really thought about the roller coaster of feelings he is going through. I think I will talk to him tonight about this

What is your visa category? They may have a different category then you? Have you called NVC? No you don't have to communicate with them.

You probably have a date. Have you checked your email. Man y here were scheduled and didn't get the letter for a day or 2.

Actually it really doesn't matter when you pay. It doesn't get activated until you enter the US.

Who Pays the Fee

We strongly encourage you to pay the USCIS Immigrant Fee after you pick up your immigrant visa from the Department of State and before you depart for the United States.

If you cannot pay the USCIS Immigrant Fee, a family member, friend, employer, attorney, or accredited representative can pay for you. If someone pays the fee for you, they will need your Alien Number (A-Number) and Department of State (DOS) Case ID.

You may also pay the fee after you arrive in the United States. If you choose this option, we will send you a notice requesting payment with instructions on paying your fee. You will not receive your Green Card until you have paid the USCIS Immigrant Fee.

Exemptions

The following groups do not have to pay the USCIS Immigrant Fee:

• Children who enter the United States under the orphan or Hague adoption programs;
• Iraqi and Afghan special immigrants;
• Returning lawful permanent residents (SB-1s); and
• K nonimmigrants.

I was just saying to @DKing that in the last 72 hours reality has started to hit me and I'm really thinking about the changes about to happen so yeah it will maybe help
