So this is not common?

7 to 10 business days is the norm there. But Jamaica also at times drags along. But no a month is not normal accept for AP beneficiaries.

Hi,

Just saw my name and profile listed under "Upcoming Interviews" and I starting thinking about when I first saw this forum and how I wanted to be on that list. Soon my name and profile will be listed under "Recent Visa Approvals." In the moment, it feels like this process took FOREVER but now when I looks back it was faster than I anticipated.

But you guys helped keep me focus and busy at the same time. :energy:

That's the spirit. What a great attitude to have.

From what year are the W2s are supposed to be taken to the interview? The most recent tax returns which is 2018 was upload on the ceac website but I did not include the W2s. I’m just finding out that the W2s have to be taken to the interview. Will it be 2017 W2s for 2018 tax returns right? Our interview date is Feb 25

Take for the current year and current tax filing. If you uploaded to NVC it's not needed. That's just a template list of what to bring that doesn't apply yo everyone. Many people do not go through NVC and must bring. But I would for sure take your W2 for 2019 since you didn't file yet and it will show what you made in 2019.

Stop worrying about the evidence. Only he gives it over if they ask. But like i said make sure he has your passport with him going into the embassy.

They don't have time to look at and read all that extra. That's what NVC side loading is for. Just the original documents. Every once in the while they may ask to see something so long as your husband has things organized ready to hand over if asked. Otherwise no.

Ok thank you

They will more then likely not ask for it. They will ask "When last you saw your wife or last she visited. He can tell the CO when you did.
They don;t have time for all that you have a t best 20 minutes with the CO. But better to have and not need right.

And sorry about your miscarriage.

All the best at your interview.

Thank you so much for your help and information. I appreciate it very much. I'm just an extra thorough person tend to be a perfectionist so I want to know bbn I'm doing it right. God Bless!!

So I've never looked at that section and went to find it. Can I tell you it really feels good seeing our name under Upcoming. it has been a whirlwind of so many emotions, and trying to keep positive and keep the faith even when we were waiting all summer not hearing anything from USCIS about our case, they approved it but then took like 3 months to send it off, it was hell.
but looking back now, we got through it, and we're here ready for the next step and phew, it really is emotional.

That was really quick , I hope it will be as fast as yours when my time comes.

Thank you! I see no reason why yours shouldn't be as quick. My understanding is that the London embassy is generally not too busy so once your docs are DQd it's usually a quick turnaround. Best of luck and just shout if you have UK-specific questions.

That is what I I was reading as well and we anticipated getting it back close to the New year or the next week.
They told us that we were not in AP but no one can tell me what is taking it so long for them to give him back his passport.
They last looked at his case on the 21st so I am assuming it will be 7-10 business days from that now.

Hi everyone. Our case was DQ at 12/11/19. US embassy Kyiv Ukraine. We are still waiting for IL. But I found here information that someone from Ukraine was DQ at January 6 and they got their IL today. There's a question : "How NVC is scheduling appointments?  Is it normal or we have to communicate with them? "

@dwheels76 we got our alien registration number with our NOA-2. I’m assuming it’s smarter to wait until after the interview to pay though right? Or does it matter if we pay before he’s even approved?
