It should say READY. Then nothing until after the interview. Some change to Administrative Processing which is normal everyone goes through that. Then ISSUED.

Until your case gets to the embassy Case Status update dates will not appear.

Just like all the other classes each embassy have a certain # they will have scheduled for that day.

 

Like Holiday season and summer break visitor visa, Student visa and Business visa get more slots because that's the peck season so there are less Immigrant visa slots available.

The expiry date has to do with submission. Long as it was submitted before it expired nothing to worry about No you don;t need to get another. They stop making people do that back in 2014.

 I haven't seen anything yet for February. They might just be done since the month is almost done. Mumbai is about 3 to 4 months wait now.
