Interview today at the London embassy. Approved! Husband said he should have passport back within a week. She only asked 3 questions: how we met, what will he do for a job in the US and if he will be the main provider for the family. Only asked to see his passport, marriage license, birth certificate and ds260. Our attorney made some errors on his ds260 which my husband mentioned to the CO but she said they were minor errors and were irrelevant, she did correct the spelling of his mother from Tracy to Tracey as that might cause issues in the future.

He said it was really easy and quick. We feel the interview was too easy to be true considering how long the whole process took and how many issues we had.

I must say, I am over the moon happy as my husband will be here for the birth of our twins 😍

Good luck to everyone else still waiting

Fantastic news, congratulations!

Yes, agreed... However, I am still unable to register the appointment online with the Embassy. How about you?

Congratulations to you and @Bking!!! It took me about a week after my case was received at the embassy to get my appointment.  I started working on getting my husband's information in as early as 7 am.  That is the exact time frame that I was able to register his appointment.

My husband had his medical 4 days before his appointment due to receiving the appointment late and that the holidays were right around the corner.  his medical got to the embassy on the Monday following his interview.  As of now, we are still waiting on his passport to be returned, but otherwise, you will feel the weight lifted off your chest when it is complete.  I just cant wait until our case is updated online stating that his visa has been issued.  We have been waiting since Dec 20th.

This is where your patience will be tested!! But good luck and congrats again!!

I  am curious about the interview allocation process, not sure if you have answered this question before but thought it was worth it asking, does NVC  have any prioritization of scheduling interviews based on the category of the applicant? meaning do husband's/wife's get interviews faster than any other category?

Thanks

This is where my worry is, the medical is 5 days before the interview and knowing that hospital, im not completely convinced they will do anything in less than 10 days as they say. Here's to hoping that our batch of interviews and passport return will move your husband's along as well!

Let me tell you!! We forgot to get his Xrays before we left Kingston.  Went back the week of New Years to pick it up.  We spoke to a receptionist, if that is what she wants to call herself.  Before we could even ask the question or give the information she was like, "Yes, it already went out."  Asked for his name again and was like oh no it hasn't went out.  It will not get there until after the new year.  Embassy called us to ask where was it the week after and then all of a sudden the Hospital is like oh it went out on the 23rd!!

I promise you these people want you to do some horrible things.  They must!! !

Slight Update @Sea Leslie

Just got off the phone with the hospital, they advised that the medical takes 10 business days no if and or buts. So it WILL arrive after the interview.

Yes, she told me the same thing, but one VJ member said that she received results in 5 days. I guess it depends on the case.
