F2A is totally different for scheduling even if you are current. I have seen people sit 1 year and were current. F2A has to do with country remember each country only gets a certain amount a year anyway.

Ok but this is a different year so I guess it should start all over and I’ve come to understand that Jamaica is a little quicker than most countries

Do people not look at the spreadsheet. All the wondering when and stuff is right on the sheet you see when they schedule. I'm not getting the confusion.

Not every embassy starts at same time it's all about when an embassy actually send in their calendar. many embassies started last week and they are done.

once you see someone for your country say I got IL and you see DQ that shows you where they are assigning.

Hi @dwheels76

It's not that we aren't checking the sheet, as I am and I have even pointed people to the spreadsheet. Just like when you had started out the process and were seeking answers out of excitement, frustration etc. I too am just trying to learn as much as I can and as quickly as I can.

I am appreciative of your work but just remember that we might not get it right away. I've tried the spreadsheet and tried to manipulate it to see only Jamaica and at times I ended up just having to scroll it manually and reading others are stating.

It's a lot to process and you have a lot to answer and I'm sorry if it seems as if we aren't helping ourselves but I ask that you remain patient with us 😁

i got dq on 31st dec no IL yet, IR1 category and isl embassy has scheduled interviews on 10th should i be looking forward for IL next month? i have seen ppl getting IL after 2 weeks for CR/IR but worried why i didnt got mine

i don't know about your embassy, but you can check on the spreadsheet and also on visajourney timelines for your country, then try to get an average of that. Some  just are lucky and get their interviews scheduled faster than others. I wouldn't worry unless it has been at least a month.

does service centre matters while scheduling interviews?

i dont think it matters, but i imagine priority date matters, and how many people from your embassy were DQ on the same day as you. it all depends on where you are on the waiting list for your country i think

You misunderstood what i was saying. I’m talking about the embassies send out IL once a month & each Embassy is different. You can’t put all them in one boat. Plus IL are going to be going all month but they are from different embassies 😑🤦🏽‍♀️.

if someone gets DQ on Jan 5 and another person Jan 30 (same embassy), are those ppl going to get IL on same day in Feb? I don't think so. the rule is 30 days wait from DQ date. that way everyone is treated fairly.

I don’t think there’s any hard and fast “rule.” On the spreadsheet I noticed some interviewees in Sweden waited about two weeks for an interview, while we waited nearly four. It’s luck of the draw more than anything... and probably has more to do with how fast NVC is getting those DQ’d cases to the consulate than with the consulates themselves.
