from my experience, I don't trust NVC call center. For oath ceremony it make sense to gather a large group in a batch and send one notice per month. But for interview, i won't matter. its first come first serve basis. at oath ceremony everyone will become US citizen and at interview not everyone gets visa, some might not bring all docs etc.. let see when I get mine.

You misunderstood what i was saying. I’m talking about the embassies send out IL once a month & each Embassy is different. You can’t put all them in one boat. Plus IL are going to be going all month but they are from different embassies 😑🤦🏽‍♀️.

You didn't ask me, but i don't think you shoud call yet. You got DQ only a few days ago so it will probably be wasted time, i doubt they will say something about your case so soon. maybe in two weeks you will have news

No, you should go to the website that is instructed in the email. All the information for scheduling your medical and what you need to bring to the interview is online. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/interview/interview-prepare.html

Ahh ok!! Thanks! I checked the website before but i thought maybe we were going to receive specific instructions from the embassy

i got dq on 31st dec no IL yet, IR1 category and isl embassy has scheduled interviews on 10th should i be looking forward for IL next month? i have seen ppl getting IL after 2 weeks for CR/IR but worried why i didnt got mine
