Based on what I have been seeing, the schedule interviews a month in advance. The scheduling would start at the end of the month going into the first week of the month after.

 

So If I am right, we would be in the last of Jan going into the first week of Feb for a March interview if the space is available to us. Of course I am still trying to review different things and read around to best understand what the process is lol.

Ok, now I understand... but I have been hearing that we would get IL a week or two after DQ for an interview for the month of February. 🤷‍♀️

Really? I mean I wouldn't mind it at all but that's not the understanding I have. It's not very clear cut on how this works at all lol.

 

I mean I heard a couple friends and family members who went through the process say that this stage will go back quick but then when you look at the spreadsheet you see that some got through that week others took a while

any idea that wether embassy will send ILs on daily basis or thats it they have send all letters on 10th of january? can we expect to get IL on monday or this month?

Yes, every case is unique... and there might be other outside factors. For example, the date for the medical exam, finances, etc.

Well the time between letter and interview yes, but as it pertains to when you get the letter I thought that was only issued end of month/start of month

Sorry if it sounds like a disappointment, as I was hoping to get my letter next week but if there is one thing this process has taught me, hope for the best and prepare for the worst.

Thanks... no disappoint here. I’m so happy that I’m at this stage, I’m in cloud nine 😊

They send IL’ s once a month. When was you DQ?

Which is sad because they have a huge building in Almadies they was building for years almost empty because of budget cuts.  They should have kept that small spot downtown barely 50 people fit in the waiting area. Everyone else had to wait outside 

I had a few people who waited over 6 months for a reaffirm case that was returned back to embassy. They sat 6 months to get an interview. It was said ten (2 years ago) they are short of staff.
