When it says 4 identical passport-sized photographs (four for each applicant, including babies) does this mean UK size or US size?

I already commented on this to you,

The clinic in London is fine with either size.

Correct. I did UK sized ones for the medical, as they're cheaper than US ones normally, in the photobooths.

Also, I strongly recommend getting 6 US-sized ones done to bring with you - you'll need them when completing the AOS/EAD forms etc and they're much cheaper in the photobooths over there (about £8 for 4, rather than $15 for 2 as it is over here!) - I meant to get another 2, but forgot, so only brought 4 with me.

Funnily enough, when I spoke with the clinic a few days ago they said I didn’t need to take any photos with me as they will take pictures of me at the medical. This was also confirmed in a follow-up email. That may be specific to my case, though, for some reason.

They have recently started sending over a digital file of the results to the embassy, so that makes sense that they would take a digital photograph to attach.. Good information.

Now they need to update their website.

My fiance has 6 UK and 2 US. I think we should be covered for everything we need. We may need to get more US ones when he is finally over here after we get married which we can worry about later.

He's covered for the stuff in the UK. He isn't covered for AOS/AP/EAD when he gets here. As I said above, he needs 6 US-sized ones for that - he can't use UK sizes once he's moved. And yes, you absolutely can get them taken once he's moved, but it costs twice as much for half as many, compared to what he'd pay in the UK...

We recently submitted AoS and he did not get the passports from the photo booth in the U.K.
We went to Walgreens and had to pay 16 dollars for 2 each and totaled almost 50 dollars.
Definitely make sure he gets them done in the U.K. (the US ones for AoS.)

So much cheaper.

Hopping into this topic just to ask, since you guys are on the subject and I'll be needing some myself soon - where is best to get US sized photos in the UK? Are you able to change the country/size in those passport photo booths? Or is it easier to go to one of those high street photo shops like Max Spielmann and ask them to take my photo?

Cheers :)

The photobooths in most train stations do both US and U.K.
