See my attachment. We got the blue slip the first time they wanted more evidence. We scheduled for the second interview. We were given the blue slip again. This time not asking for any more evidence. See my uploaded blue slip. Thanks

This is a refusal that can be overcome. You need to wait out the administrative processing now

In the first interview i wasn't there. The rejection in the first interview they wanted bunch of things like family tree, ex spouses info, current address and email, timeline, etc. We brought all the evidence back on the second interview. I was there for the second interview. We gave them all the evidence. They interview both of us separately.  After about 2 hours of waiting they gave us the second blue slip. There were about 4 other people who were there for k1 interview like us. They all got the second blue slip like us. Thanks

From what people told me this kind of blue slip on the second interview in vietnam is pretty much a soft refusal. They will just hold it there for a few months then send it back to nvc. Pretty much a waste of time for everyone. Thanks

So did they give her back her passport or keep it? If they kept it, that's a good sign.

They gave her passport. I am pretty sure we will be in a long wait. I really love my fiancee. I talked to an attorney. He advised us to wait or do a wihdrawal of the k1 and marry her and file for a cr1. No matter what we are going to get married so we decided to get married and move on with the cr1 application. Thanks

If you go get married now and refile you will not know the reason of the denial.  Getting married and filing for a spousal visa without knowing what the denial is pointless because you will probably be denied for the exact same reason.  Best to wait for the K1 results and then deal with that information.

I believe they were expecting her to know these things when asked. These are the questions my fiancée was asked in her interview last month in Manila. Fortunately she had memorized these things, including my ex’s name, my siblings etc...

she will probably get quizzed on them during the cr1 interview as well

After reading your blue slip, I would wait awhile and see what they say. It says they will contact you and needs further processing. many people are experiencing what you are going through right now in Vietnam, Many people are having second interviews and asked to wait more time. I know it is difficult but you will get through it and will prevail. My guess is what happened in Texas last May is creating extra paperwork for everyone, but is just a guess.

What does the CEAC site say?

Good luck to you

Craig

It's time to wait. They will review all your evidence then render a decision. This can go either way approval or denial. Quitting now serves no purpose since you have come this far why not wait a bit longer to be sure of the outcome before filing a CR1. We have seen cases get approved on a 221(g).
