My fiancee and I got a second blue slip in our second interview. Basically we got 2 blue slips all together. We were pretty bummed out. i never felt so sad in my entire life. Our love for each other is genuine and real. Now we want to go the route of cr1. I want to marry her. What should i do now? Send in a withdrawal of the k1 visa? On the blue slip it wasn't a deny. It basically stated they will get in touch with us. Thank you for the help. My fiancee went through almost 8 months with the k1 already. Now if we have to go through witj the cr1 i dont mind. I just need some guidance.  Thanks!!

It really depends on why you received the two 221g slips.  Marriage does not cure everything.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Agree, impossible to give guidance without information.

No idea. On the blue slip 221g it doesn't say anything. It just stated it will get in touch with us. We are confused. It wasnt really a flatout denial. It was more like a soft denial. Thanks

You have come this far why not wait it out a little longer. You just may see an approval. Everyone is anxious and we understand but jumping from one pile of @@@@ to another is not going to quickly solve your patience. Stick it out and see where this leads.

We need a little housekeeping on your end. Many of our answers are predicated on the information you supply in your profile. When we look at the left column and can't determine your timeline OR your Embassy it's hard for us to give you a factual answer. Our answers will sometimes be tailored to a specific Embassy hence the reason for you to complete your profile. If you look at the profile of others here, they have a flag for their country, so it makes it easy for us to reply as we can quickly determine their Embassy. The country that should be used is the country where the interview will take place.

So, if you could help yourself out and complete your profile that sure would help us out when we want to reply to your question with factual information.

Go to the top right of this page select your name (it's on the upper right-hand corner)>my profile>[below your picture on the right column] edit my profile. Scroll to the bottom and fill in "Immigration Info". There now we can better serve you.

Once you finish that then return and you will see a flag in your profile. Select it and see what wonderful information will open up for you.

Thanks

What does the CEAC status indicate?  Administrative Processing?

Would you be willing to screenshot and upload the slips? Obviously blocking out sensitive info, of course.

"Blue slip" is not meaningful, unless you can describe what it says, and the circumstances of the interview, consulate, relationship etc.

This is confusing..both you and your USC Fiance got a blue slip? The USC spouse is not applying for the visa.

Also, did you full fill the requirements for a K1?

He means she got 2 blue slips. One at each interview. Strange there were two interviews.

221(g) Blue Form: A blue form implies that the US Visa Consulate needs an additional supporting document(s) to take a decision on a visa application.

so,  do whatever the CO wants

or wait for them to get a document they can get from their sources  (example would be checking computers for entry and exit stamps on passport )

not saying that is what they are doing but i just give an example

obviously they are looking for a confirmation of something you submitted or said in interview

In our embassy,  we answer with simple answers without a big long explanation

trying to elaborate on questions during interview can be seen as "making things up"

Getting married don't guarantee a CR1 visa.   IF you are denied the K1, you need to address the reason why , and sort it out before marriage and filing for a CR1, otherwise, you going to keep going around in a circle, and not get anywhere.

Wait a bit and see if they do contact you of results of 2nd interview.

It’s incredibly difficult for anyone to give you solid advice when you don’t provide a better explanation of what happened.
