Appointment confirmation question

First of all, happy new year!

I just want to ask if the appointment confirmation for K1 only has one barcode for UID?

I originally received one that has the DS-160 number from my B2 visa application last March. I sent an email to the embassy and they sent me another one without the DS-160 number and with just one barcode with the UID number. Is that how it looks like for K1?

Thank you, as always! God bless you!

Yup only one UID and it will not relate to the DS160.    This time you are scheduling an interview with the Immigrant Visa Unit, last time Non-Immigrant Visa Unit ...     process is different.       All is good

Hello, sir @Hank_. Just want to clarify, I don’t have to wait for an e-mail from the Embassy, right? I just got my medical results today and I have my interview scheduled on the 16th. I asked for a copy of my eligibility letter but got an e-mail saying they got my electronic file on the 26th of Dec and they have to receive my physical file until I can do the interview and that they will just send me an e-mail. Should I proceed or reschedule? My case status has been “ready” since the 27th that’s why I scheduled my medical and interview already.

Thank you!

Thank you!

Correct, there is no reason to wait for an email/mail from the embassy to start the process.      You don't need the "eligibility letter"  for anything.

If CEAC status shows READY .. you are fine to keep your current schedule.   No need to reschedule.
