Small ceremonies will be scheduled for OATH!

To help slow the spread of COVID-19, we’ve temporarily suspended in-person services at our offices until on or after June 4. We’ll work towards reopening our offices with your safety & the safety of our workforce in mind. We will automatically reschedule naturalization ceremonies and will send you notice by mail.

In certain limited situations, we may be able to perform small ceremonies for a limited number of applicants, when possible & all appropriate precautions can be taken. To read more about our operations during this time, visit: www.uscis.gov/coronavirus

Edited just now by Giovanna024

For certain limited situations only, so not every will be scheduled

My estimated completion time was May. Now it’s June and estimated wait time, they are taking longer than expected to process my case. Is that meant  I will get my interview by June? I applied the end of January.

Hi please how do I check for my estimated completion time. Thanks

When the USCIS offices open next month, are they going to straight away interview people for N400? or have they not yet scheduled people for interviews and will only do so after June 4th

Since USCIS announced they might have to start furloughing employees starting mid-July if Congress doesn’t fund them, I wouldn’t put my money on this whole rescheduling process being quick. On top of that, I haven’t heard from them yet and my interview was supposed to be in April. I would say the best thing to do right now is to take it day by day. In the end, it will probably depend on which field office you filed with and how busy they usually are.

We’re preparing to resume public services at individual offices on or after June 4, following the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention’s guidelines to protect our workforce and the public. When we reopen to the public, all offices will have safety and health precautions in place to protect our workforce and those visiting our offices. If you’re feeling sick, please don’t come into the office. Follow the instructions on your appointment notice and reschedule without penalty for a time when you’re healthy. As we prepare to reopen some offices to the public on June 4, we’ll send notices to applicants and petitioners with previously scheduled appointments and interviews.

Those who had other appointments must reschedule through the USCIS Contact Center once field offices are open to the public. If visiting our offices, you should follow the safety guidelines and visitor limitations posted and linked to below.
