Today was my Interview scheduled at 8:30am 😭😭😭😭😭😭 now god knows when! Hope they dont extend until July 4th!

I am so sorry friend, let's hope it wont be too long. I don't understand why they cannot perform teleconference interviews? I mean doctors offices has been doing telemeds successfully, this could be done as well, so many programs out there.

Exactly they could do face time or skype.

facetime is a good idea but what if they wanted to see any docs like tax return or other paper related items, then it wont be feasible otherwise i am all in for facetime save me a trip going to chicago. 

on the other hand if we could have just done a complete shutdown things could have been different only grocery items from 3 to 6 pm. Other countries have less infection rate is becoz they had extreme lockdown protocol for example New Zealand. if only could all states be on the same page.

Credit to Amy Klobuchar and all the senators who signed and send this letter to USCIS. I think USCIS should be able to do video interviews and even zoom meetings for OATH ceremonies. What do you guys think?

The letter does not address local closures, it addresses closure of international field offices. Did you mean to post a different link?

 

Generally I would of course like the idea of video interviews and oath ceremonies to allow regular timeline processing and give us a chance to register to vote in the upcoming election. But I am not sure if any of the existing video portals provide the level of data security that would be required to do so?

Hi everyone 😊

I just joined this forum after I couldn’t find an answer online.

I’m about to submit my N-400 online but I also want to file the G-1145 (E-notification of Applicant/Petition Acceptance).  Does anyone know if there is a way to submit the G-1145 online?

I know that you can print the G-1145 and attach it with your package but that’s only if you’re applying by mail.

 

Also, I wonder how long everything will be delayed with this whole covid situation 😳 Hoping that everyone is staying safe!

G-1145 isn't needed really. The online application for naturalization can be done easily and then you can create an account with USCIS where you can sign up to get alerts by text/email.

Small ceremonies will be scheduled for OATH!

If you file the N-400 online, is there a way to download your 'responses' into a file afterwards? 😯 One tip I heard is to keep copies of everything you submitted, including forms, in case they ask you about it during the interview.
