Again please correct me if I’m wrong but you either should’ve put your name change request in your N400 application (I believe there is a spot for that on the form), OR you can request a petition for name change when you go for your interview. But I’m not 100% sure about this. You should do a little research. This forum provides lots of good information. Use the search option!

In regard to you reverting to your maiden name,I was in that situation

It doesn't require a name change request,I just told the interviewing officer that I want to go back to my maiden name and right there in the office he changed it.Hope this information will help u

Not the appropriate time to ask in these times but trying to move my state of mind to something else. Did anyone got any new interview scheduled after fingerprints?

Nope, absolutely zero updates since biometrics were completed.

Filed on Jan 26 2020, did walk-in biometrics on Feb 12 2020, and had nothing since. I was never scheduled an interview yet. Also pending I-751, no movement there, either. See my signature for details.

If you get an interview notice, and the i751 is still pending, contact your congress rep office.

I did that and they had my i751 moved to be adjudicated with the n400, so at least I know whenever this covid thing is under control, I will be wrapped up with the immigration journey.

My n400 interview is for April 14th, but I don’t see that happening.  Will be rescheduled.

I have changed all of those that were scheduled in late March and all of April to "De-Scheduled." That is all of the scheduled interviews, except @lucardo3 (completed and approved March 5.)

  • 2 weeks later...

Timeline and completion time is back!

Logged into my uscis, and to my surprise the completion time was back. It hasn't changed from what was before the COVID 19 crisis. Theres also a message saying they intend to reopen offices on May 4th. Thats good news in my book.

Just checking in to see how everyone is doing. I hope you are healthy and staying safe and that your loved ones are safe as well. If you've gotten this far, you have amazing resilience that not a lot of people have. I may not have met you and may never will, but we've been on this journey together and I truly wish you well during this strange time that we re all in.

Take care,
