A friend's hubby had i751 pending and n400, he got interview for n400 and no word about i751. When they got there, both cases were merged, they had no prior info from USCIS. Everything went fine. I wouldn't worry, I think everything will be ok! BTW he got approved, no biggie.

That’s so encouraging - thank you!

Ugh.  So I have to print all my bank statements again? What a waste of paper.

I agree. I will not print 150 pages worth of bank statements. I will bring originals of everything else and show them the email my bank sent me (which includes the statements as attachments) if they ask for it

I know I already asked this a few weeks ago, but now how many of you think there will be a significant impact from COVID-19 on immigration issues? One area I suspect may be heavily impacted is the oath ceremonies, specifically big ones. Large gatherings of people, with family members coming from maybe far and wide? I'm not trying to sound needlessly pessimistic, but I can't see things going ahead as normal for much longer.

I agree. Yes, there will be a significant impact - it's already started....It seems many people aren't understanding this reality. There have already been instances of oath cancellations and an office closure. There will be more...

Yep, completely agree. I have my interview scheduled for April 6th. I'm beginning to think that won't go ahead, but I live in hope!

I think everyone will be affected by this, and it will cause more delay in Process of N400. at least all of you who had interview you are almost done.

But us who didnt even move at all we have God knows how long wait and if it will be this year!

Its already frustrating all this process and now this Virus and Trump Ban everything its not a Good sign at all! More frustration on and on and on.

It can also delay a Election this year

And my heart goes out to those (especially you, because you are constantly here being enthused for others who have the luck to be filing at a quicker location) who will be delayed even further.

I think oath ceremonies are more at risk of being cancelled than interviews are.

The issue with interviews is that there was recently news about USCIS staff being given the option to work remotely so I'm not sure how that will impact the processing of applications and the completion of interviews.

Indeed it's a painful time for immigrants and those going through the citizenship process, especially those in larger cities where backlogs are already huge and which will invariably also be more heavily hit by the COVID-19 situation.
