I became eligible under the 5-year rule yesterday, and I filed online around 8am eastern. I'm in New York City, and my local field office is Brooklyn, NY.

Initially I saw the "We are processing your form. It can take up to 48 hours for all of your case information to show on your home page." message and the only email I received was the payment confirmation. As of this morning I can now see the documents tab with the receipt notice, and an estimated case completion of January 2021.

The wait begins again!

2013 7/15 I-129F sent, 7/18 received Dallas lockbox, 7/22 NOA1, 10/22 NOA2, 11/15 NVC Case Created, 11/20 NVC Shipped, 11/25 Consulate received, 11/28 Packet 3 received/returned, 11/29 Medical, 12/9 Packet 4 received

2014 1/9 Interview - Approved, 1/15 CEAC - Issued, 1/17 Visa in hand, 2/5 POE: LAX, 4/4 Married!, 4/8 AOS/EAD/AP filed, 4/14 NOA1, 5/7 Walk-in biometrics, 5/19 EAD/AP approved (expedited), 5/22 EAD/AP mailed, 5/23 EAD/AP received, 7/29 Interview waiver letter

2015 4/13 AOS approved (no interview), 4/22 Green card received

2017 1/17 I-751 ROC filed (VSC), 1/23 NOA, 2/28 Biometrics

2018 1/31 ROC approved

2020 1/14 N400 filed

Mine says “October 2020”. I filed on the 13th. What influences these estimated time frames? The field office, I imagine?

Hi all, need your valuable opinion on this, thank you all. I submit online on 1/4 and just been noticed the biometrics appointment scheduled on 1/31. But I won't able to attend the appointment on that day, is it possible if I walk in to the field office couple of days before the appointment date to accomplish the finger  prints taken?

You can try and walk in, just bring the letter and tell them you will not be able to make it when it is your appointment

Hi All,

I will finish my 5 years as Green Card holder by this March 1st. I do remember reading in the forum that we can apply for the Citizenship 90 days before the 5 years end date. Is that true? If so would you please share any links to support that statement.

Thank you very much in advance.

Yes its true, you have calculator on USCIS and put your anniversary date it will show you when your window is open.
