It will not delay your N-400 but it can delay the oath process depending on where your local office is as with a name change the oath have to be before a judge. 
Even if you do keep his name and if a few years want to change you can request a new certificate with new name on it (have to pay fee) but the certificate is not like a birth certificate it is proof of citizenship and therefore should have your legal name on it. 

Thanks 🙏🏽, Newark NJ is my field office, and it normally same day Oath ceremony, just after you pass your n400.. thanks you for your advice. I think I will keep it like that and change it later. I don’t want any delays, my i751 took 21 months before I got approved after an interview last month. It was crazy. But the interviewer was really nice 👍🏽. Thank God.

Since error of my attorney I will join this group. I filed on January 14th via Fedex Paper based on 5year rule, if someone can update the Time sheet.

Hello all, 

Submitted my N400 application online tonight, based on 3 years marriage to USC . Approved 10 GC in hand . Opted for name change (maiden name to married name) hopefully this does not a knock on effect on completion time 🤞🏾🤷🏽‍♀️....How soon does “estimated completion” show on case tracker and where can I view this please? Thank you and best of luck to all.

I have 3 different case tracker apps. None of them show estimated completion. 

On the my.uscis.gov site, "estimated completion" shows up within 30 minutes of submitting application.

I checked my wife's case on the my.uscis.gov site this morning, and the Biometrics letter was in the documents tab.

Appointment is scheduled for January 31.

Thank you much. Got an update this morning on my USCIS. gov that my estimated completion is October 2020(Chicago) and a 14days estimated wait time for biometric ...All the best with the future.
