Hi Alexpop.

How fast is the office in Cleveland? How long did it take you to complete your application?

From what I have heard is the fastest in the country.

I applied October 30, 2019 and will be done March 11, 2020.

Cleveland office usually schedules the interview the same day with your biometrics if you are past the 3/5 year anniversary.

I applied 89 days early so I had to wait 30 days before my actual anniversary.

I have 3 friends that applied on November 1st, 2019 and Had their Oath on January 17.  - All in all, under 3 months.

Wow that's really fast.

We are in Seattle and it's the slowest one (14 to 16 months minimum wait time. I was wondering if getting an address in Cleveland just for the citizenship would help our case. I know we need to have at least 3 months of residency but how to prove the residency beside the lease agreement? We won't have anything else if we just rent a place to collect the mail and wait for the interview then come back home in Seattle 😄

Or come to Spokane which is in the same state. Times here are 2-5 months

LOL  & WOW. That is a ton amount of time.

Looks like no one is interested in immigrating to the US via Cleveland. haha.

Stick with Seattle - USCIS knows  your plan even before you think of it :)

Like every big city in the US, Cleveland has its not so great parts.
I live in the suburbs of Cleveland, pretty nice and quiet area.

Attention to all users who has access to the Google spreadsheet, please be careful when you edit or view the file. Someone messed up the file and I had recover the older version. Please be careful. Thank you

The immigration process caused me PTSD.

We also found that Fresno CA has a really fast immigration office for processing citizenship. And for some reasons, the house market is really cheap but poverty is really high.

So you're right. Cities with less immigration attraction are fast at processing applications. I understand now why Seattle is really backlog. Washington state is one of the most welcoming places when it comes to immigration. Seattle is even a "sanctuary city ". The minimum  wage is among the highest in the country. And with Amazon, Google, Microsoft... that definitely explain why the immigration demand is so high and the staff is very overwhelmed.

I wish they didn't have the residency requirement. I would have transferred my application to Fresno to get it completed fast.

I intend to move to Seattle after gaining citizenship. My spouse is also onboard with this idea.

Went for my biometrics this morning.  Was in and out within 20 minutes.

It was fast, and much like my i751, they only snapped a photo and took one print from my right hand.  I asked the technician about having the i751 transferred to complete both at once and he said it's not standard procedure, so I'm hoping he's just unaware about that happening, because my estimated case completion is now April 2020 (was originally May), and I will be SO upset if my n400 will be approved but in limbo until that awful i751 gets adjusidicated (filed 386 days ago).

Nearing the end of the process feels SO awesome! :)
