the answer depends to your question. if filing based on marriage even if you earned 1k in 2015 i would file taxes for that year jointly. based on 5 year rule i would just say Yes never filed taxes. If i am you i would try not to answer Yes on this question even 3 or 5 year rule. instead go and amend the taxes and file for that year.聽

For Uscis filing taxes is a big issue. My attorney asked the first question have you even not filed taxes? Thank god i have always filed my taxes jointly since i became permanent resident.

Everyone situation is different but聽 what you can do is write a letter explaining why you didnt file for that year. Just scan your written letter explaining why you didnt pay taxes and upload it online.

You didnt mention it that you were single. so no point of filing jointly. so just contact your accountant and he will giude you how you can amend or file for previous years.

i am also the same as u. my answer is yes, and i added explanation, yes, on online version there is space to explain as much as u want.

then my explanation is on 2015 coz my income is not required to file due to too low. i know as a good resident u need to file tax if u have income. anyway, if u have no job, mean u have dont have any records with IRS. and u need to answer no. hope all of us luck,聽馃榿

Fixed the calculation of the "Case Completion in Number of Months" to show how many months are possibly remaining for each case based on case estimation date (some were showing 30+ for some reason??). As long as you keep your case estimation date up-to-date, it'll auto countdown by how many months are remaining. 馃槉

nice signature, how could u do that ?
