I gave interview on 16th feb 2021, Since than my status is in waiting for oath ceremony, not yet received notice for oath date.

Anybody has idea how long it takes to schedule for oath ceremony?

It depends on location I’m guessing. My interview was on Feb 21. Had to submit one document I forgot to bring to my interview. On the 9th of March my status updated 3 times from approval to in line for oath to oath scheduled at about 4pm that same day. Next day I was able to view the ceremony date

Because Sócial Security buildings are closed since 2020 (#######) they want me to mail in my ORIGINAL naturalization certificate to process my name change.

DMV doesn’t update drivers license until the SSA has changed the name.

At the naturalization ceremony the USCIS officer told us specifically not to mail our certificate to anyone except the State Department for passport.

Anyone with the same experience?

Applied January 2020.

Biometrics Feb 2020

Today it shows "Interview scheduled, we will mail you an interview notice"- shows no letter or date.

Estimated case completion time: 12 months (March 2022)...😳

5 year rule, California service center. I wonder how can this be.

Yes- my biometrics letter was showing under Documents online when I had it last year, so I wonder if the interview letter  will too.

Does the interview notice get only snail mailed, or should I expect it as a PDF in my online account too?

It’s obviously computer generated and not accurate. Which is your field office?

Quick question for everyone who has gotten through this: Do you get to keep your Green Card after oath/interview? I would like to keep mine as a keepsake, hoping they don't take it away.

Before oath they collect my greencard. I dont think you Can keep your greencard.
