I have been told by my congressman’s office that almost always they will do combo interview when there is I-751 pending. I would say that regardless of update on I-751, take your spouse if that’s possible. We have pending ROC so we plan to go together and wait in lobby if they won’t allow me inside.

okay thanks .Did your N400 interview schedule as well with no updates on I751 just like me?

Well just take her with you. Worse comes to worse she can't go in and will just wait outside for an hour or so. You already bought the plane ticket, so just go with her and prepare as if she would be let in. If not then that's okay too. It's an important day, so if she has to wait outside or in the car or at a starbucks that should be worth it. Better be safe than sorry, especially in these times with covid where a rescheduling could mean many more months delays.

Agree, At this point, I dont want to risk anything so its better she can come and stay inside the car if they wont let her inside the office.

Thanks all of you guys for help and valuable advise. Ill definitely keep you guys posted

One question, Do we really need to bring original marriage certificate for N400 and potential I751 combo interview? I do have a photocopy of it but original marriage certificate is missing somewhere. I thought I had it but cant find it now. Would that be a problem?

I think originals are required. They might give you an RFE, but I’m not sure.

At my wife's I-751 interview, they didn't ask for anything at all and at her N-400 interview, they only asked for proof we paid last years taxes so she showed the IO our tax transcript (even though it was submitted electronically).
