So they were supposed to have sent the oath letter on the 5th August but here we are on the 12th and it still hasn’t arrive

Have you checked the Documents tab on your USCIS online account?

You can print the oath invitation and form if the time nears but the physical documents haven't come in the mail.

Yes. I have four pages there which I assume is the letter and the  complete form and I will definitely print that out and take with me if the hard copy doesn’t arrive before Monday, which is when my oath ceremony is. I just rather assumed it would arrive before then. Silly me.

I’m sure this is down to the new constraints that have been put on usps. I’ve heard  of 2 or 3 weeks mailing times for first class mail cross country. If you need to send a birthday card to someone, don’t put it off. A friends mother was really hurt when she received her card a week late until she checked the postmark.

You can go with that one in Document Tab, just print it out.

No need to wait for Original to come in Mail.

Enjoy. You are at the END od journey!!! Be happy!

Ugh. So they were supposed to have sent the oath letter on the 5th August but here we are on the 12th and it still hasn’t arrived. I’m assuming those things are sent from the local office? So it’s taken more than 7 days to go 20 miles. I guess this is what it means when people say usps is in crisis.

My wife's online account changed to "oath scheduled" July 27. The letter showed up on the documents tab on the 29th. The actual letter was postmarked July 28, and arrived August 1. The return address is Lee's Summit, MO., which is the National Benefits Center (MSC), just outside of Kansas City. It took 4 days to get to Little Rock, AR, so yours will probably arrive today or tomorrow.

@krylonblue - you are a couple of days behind me at Pittsburgh. Have you got your oath letter yet?

Nope, no physical letter yet. I just printed out the one from my Documents tab and will take that one with me.

Whoops, you’re right. Misread that. Still funny though! Good thing, because I was starting to wonder if my husband had two more wives I didn’t know about. 😂

Hello :)

Are there any Chicago January 2020 filers that are getting any appointments etc.

Still waiting for the Interview. Honestly future for the interview is looking really grim because of the furloughs but still optimistic. Fingers crossed.

You called it. It just plopped into my mailbox. :D And despite what it said online, it was actually postmarked the 10th.
