The conditional gc is for 2 years but if the application for ROC was filed within the time frame to remove conditions, then they are within the processing time. They are giving the i551 stamp in the passport for temporary proof of residency status until the application is completely processed since extension letters can only be issued once.

What Amadia said is correct. Also if you have applied for I751 and then N400 after a while in majority cases they merge both processes into one.

Hi I have a question. 

 

I dont have a transcript from IRS for the taxes 2017, 2018 and 2019 but I do have Trubo Taxes all of them, is that gonna be ok as evidence or I have to get it from IRS?

You should be ok. Tax documents are not listed on the Interview appointment letter. 

From what I have heard in this group, they are have not been asking for documents very often. I think in most cases, if you have an interview, you have already been approved, pending your passing the Civics test.

I know but I have my reasons why I am asking and why I need to show if they asked.

If you can get the transcripts, that would be better, because they show what you actually filed. 

If you take the turbotax, also take w-2's 1099's and any other schedules that turbotax generated.

In a twist today. I went for my citizenship interview. Passed everything.

Was told to wait in the lobby for my certificate and then the printer broke.

So they will call me either today or tomorrow to come in the collect it.

I won't say bad luck because they are just needing to print your cert as you are DONE WITH IMMIGRATION LIFE! 🎉  

Others - like me - are still waiting for USCIS to fart in our general direction 😕

Amadia did u know that West Palm is doing same day Oath Ceremony? Someone confirmed on FB.
