Not that they're usually accurate anyway, but my estimated completion date disappeared again. It was August 2020 and now it's blank. On another site, a person from Detroit whose interview was descheduled still has not received a new date. Sigh. Dreams of voting these year keep getting further and further away.

What does it mean, "6 days of wait time"? Asking because my estimated completion is May 2021 with "8 moths wait time". Hmmm....

It doesn’t really mean anything. Neither number should be taken with more than a grain of salt. The 8 months (and 6 days) part is supposedly when something will happen on your application but it’s not actually accurate. When it gets down to zero, it’ll just say “We are taking longer than expected to process your application.” 😢

They didn’t give you your certificate at the time of your oath ceremony? Maybe you addressed this In another post, but that seems odd.

I agree. However, I am hoping that this is accurate in our case because case status had changed to “we are taking longer than expected...” in June and changed back to count down last week. Here is to hoping!!! I

Had my oath ceremony today. There were 11 or 12 of us (uncertainty due to being at the very front of the room). The entire thing took about half an hour,

I arrived 30 minutes before as per the letter, but was told to come back in 15 minutes as there were a whole bunch of people coming in for interviews at the same time.

After the ceremony we were given the choice to have an unmasked photo taken by a uscis employee (photo will be emailed).

Pittsburgh has really ramped up their oath ceremonies. Instead of two ceremonies a week pre covid, they are now doing 4 ceremonies 4 days a week. Plus instead of one courthouse ceremony a month they are doing one every Friday. So I probably could have had my name changed to include my middle name without much delay. Oh well - such is life.

Most surreal thing - they were playing Souza marches as we were waiting. And while Liberty Bell sounds appropriate, for people of my generation it’s immediately recognizable as the Monty Python theme tune, lol.

This is nice. I wasn`t given no chance to take picture as they were doing series of Oath Ceremonies every 15 minutes. Congrats!
