Identifying Documents Questions

My appointment for naturalization is coming up and my appointment letter says to bring my “passport and or or any documents used in connection with any entries to the United states” what if I’m missing my passport and the document I used to enter the country? Do I simply tell them I no longer have them? I came to the US when I was 3 and became a permanent resident at 9, so I had no control of the documents. What do I do?

Did you ever travel outside the US since living here?

 

I came across a thread from someone on here who posted about her N400 interview experience and the fact that, when asked for her passport, she explained that it was lost but a police report was never made since it was expired. She indicated that the officer shrugged and said it was fine.

I did travel outside the country. I lived in the RGV of Texas (it borders mexico) and frequently visited until I moved for college. Because I was driving to and from mexico I didn't need my passport, my green card was enough. Thank you for your response, I truly appreciate it!
