I129 Credit Card Payment Question

I’d like to use the credit card payment option when I file my petition. Partially to get the points and also because it’s less hassle than having someone from the US send me a money order (I live in Cambodia). I’m going to call my card company and make sure they know a charge is coming from the states so it doesn’t get blocked. I’d like to fill out 2 G-1450 forms with 2 different credit cards and a notation to use the other one if one is declined. Both cards are wide open with no balance, you just never know when Visa will randomly block a transaction they flag as suspicious and I’d rather provide the processing center with another card to try instead of rejecting my application. Is this a good/bad/feasible idea? Should I just use the money order?

Call Visa ahead of time notifying them of the transaction, problem solved

YMMV

I’m also thinking ahead, what if my credit card gets stolen (and I have to cancel it) between the time I send the paperwork and the time they try to charge it for processing? I always try to have a backup plan in case of something happening, regardless of how unlikely it is. Much easier just to add an extra G1450 than dealing with the hassle of starting over. I’m just trying to determine if there’s any downside to doing this.

I have seen at least once case which was immediately rejected for doing this very thing.  Don't do anything that might confuse USCIS.  I would send one G-1450.
