She can buy Insurance, really it is just a question if she can afford it.

Thank you for your quick reply.

Would she be denied under immigration public charge rule if I can't afford insurance?

Most likely.

and think about it logically, if you can’t afford healthcare for her, what is going to happen when she gets sick? Have you been reading about what is going on with the price of insulin?

You do not have to pay for insurance, the US is by far the most expensive place on earth for medical treatment so she needs a plan as to how she will fund her needs.

Unfortunately she can't afford it and I can't either.

Thank you for your reply

So she will very likely be denied due to the likelihood of becoming a public charge.

So what is the plan for getting treatment in the US?

This is a really serious topic. Americans with health insurance are dying because they can’t afford insulin. This isn’t a case of “will my mother get a visa”. This is a case of “where should my mother live to be able to afford life saving medication and treatment”.

That is so true.  I was watching a show talking about how people are having to decide whether to eat and pay their bills or get their insulin.  The bottom line is people are dying because they can't afford.  They showed people who had died.  I would be very concerned about bringing someone with diabetes to this country.
