Resend paper NOA1

I have a receipt number however the paper NOA1 appears to be lost, USCIS says you can call them if you do not receive it by Jan 5 (for me), has anyone called and had the NOA1 reissued and sent out before? Would this cause any slowdowns in my case?

I would like the official NOA1 so that I can bring it to the POE when I visit using the Visa Waiver Program, to prove to the officer that we are doing things legally if he asks about it.

You can attept to call USCIS and ask for a copy but it's really not needed for anything. Most people do not have a problem at POE when traveling on a WWP. I'm not sure why you are concerned but be it as it may, you shouldn't have any problems. Besides, if needed they can access it from their systems if needed and will be able to ascertain that you are indeed applying for a K-1 Visa.

I just don't want to be put into secondary and cause missed flights etc.

I will print out a screenshot of the text message as that's all I have (no email) and hope for the best

How did you get your NOA1 receipt number?

Agree with Greenbaum. 👍

Some folks get both the electronic NOA1 and the paper NOA1, others get one or the other. It really is of little consequence. As far as your immigration journey is concerned, the Form I-797C, Notice of Action, USCIS acknowledges receipt of your I-129F petition, payment of fee, and you get a receipt number. That receipt number is vital for useful for for follow-up discussions with USCIS. When the approved petition gets to NVC (the handoff to DOS), the petition will then get a DOS Casefile number for its sojourn through the DOS portion of your immigration journey.

Good luck on your immigration journey.
