Hi guys,

My name is complicated ( I have 2 first names and one last name, No middle name ). The problem is the dental, vision and health insurance have wrote my name mistakenly as first name, middle name and last name( making my 2 first name as first and middle name, last name is correct). I have made tons of phone calls to correct this, but it is becoming extremely difficult especially with my old health insurance and old statements from our bank. I didn't noticed that before since I thought that they are writing it like this because my name is too long. I have used all of cards and no one told me the name is wrong. Now I am in the process of applying for the ROC and I am not sure what to do? This is never happened with me before. I wanted to include pictures of my health insurance card, bank, investment account etc.., but now i don't know what should i do. I have never changed my name or accepted this. It a mistake many financial and health entities have made. It is crazy that even today i received new bank card with my name written wrong today lol.  should I just send them that way I received it? please give me advice

I have read the money people recommended to apply ASAP when the 90 says start, how bad is it if I wait for the second month?

My eligibility to apply for ROC was on the 22nd of December.

You have to apply within 90 days of your conditional green card expiring, so you have some time to try to correct this.  I'm not sure if this will work, but can any of those cards be corrected quickly?  Which ones are most likely to be? Sometimes new insurance cards are sent soon after Jan 1-you might be able to call and get it corrected before it's sent.  You might be able to correct some others by going to the bank (maybe they will give you a letter that you've asked for this to be corrected)  When you apply for ROC use the cards you have, (correct edand incorrect) and in the meantime correct everything else.  It might help to send an explanation with your application...and yes, banks and insurance companies often screw up names if they are too long or don't fit the pattern here in the US.

If later you are sent an RFE you should have more corrected cards or documentation that you're trying to correct this (copies of emails, etc)

In the end it might be a problem that USCIS has seen before.

Good luck.

3 of your 4 names still appear on the insurances and bank card. So I see no problem here. I have 4 names, I only use 3/4.

Nothing wrong with applying the second month of the 90day period. I did the same. No issues

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

another way to avoid the middle name, you can use the abbreviation NMI (no middle initial), try to get an info pass appoint to disccuss

I am in the process of correcting them, but the holiday and the bureaucracy are not helping, also I am concerned to file late in the 90 days. I am trying to obtain letters now. I have the enrollment benefits from my new employer so I will include screen shots from the benefit page

I think they care about the SSN only that is why no one noticed the name issue.

I am afraid that they will make my middle name NMI lol. I will try to do that, thank you!

I have checked my last year tax returns and they have made mistake with my name, however I am going to include it in since we filed jointly (a relatives Company did it for us and they still made a mistake lol ). I will included 2 bank letters and statements showing that it is joint , also old and new health insurance, investment and retirement account with both our names. Also I requested a letter from the credit card company to show that we both are authorized signature on each others card. I want to include the car loan with both our names on it, but the address on it is our old address. Is this a problem ?

I want to include a pictures from our wedding and some family holidays and gathering. Is this enough or do I need to add more ?

I have 3 (!) first names and 1 surname. That's how they do it in my country, there are no middle names but several first names. Only one of the first names is used in conversation, the name people know you by. Here in the US I use two of my first names as middle names instead, have never been any issues, it has actually been easier this way.
