Hi! Just want to ask how long does it take to get your marriage certificate? Because my 90days will expire on January 10,2020 and our wedding is on January 5,2020. How many days till I get the marriage cert so I can submit it along with other forms.

thank you in advance

Depends on where you get married.   In Vegas it is available almost immediately.   In Los Angeles county it had been reported at about 6 weeks

YMMV

Here in San Diego. Is it fine if my 90days expires and I haven't file AOS since we're waiting for the marriage certificate?

Probably........You can file after 90 days.  But after 90 days you are out of status and technically subject to deportation.   After submitting your I-485, you will be granted "authorized stay" until the I-485 is adjudicated.   It isn't likely there would be an issue, but it is possible......good luck.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

Thank you so much! We will just submit all forms right after we received the marriage cert. as long as the date of marriage is within the 90days period it will be fine right?
