We received our letter today stating our I129F filed on Feb 2, 2007 last touched May 22, 2007 was approved. It has been received by NVC and forwarded to embassy in Kiev. we need help...out I130 are about 75% complete. does anyone have experience on which path to take. I 129 or I 130 or continue with both???????????

At this point, you should continue with the K3. In order to do the I-130 route, you would have to file a form and pay a fee, and the K3 will definitely be faster than all of that.

EDIT - Sorry, I was confused by your post but now I've had a closer look at your timeline. You should continue with the I-130/CR1 process at this point. The CR1 visa has more advantages over the K3 visa, and at this point you would probably not gain time with the K3, at least not enough to make it worth your while.

US Immigration Timeline

24 Feb 2007 - Sent I-130 to London USCIS office (I'm the petitioner)

25 May 2007 - NOA2

2 June 2007 - Received Packet 3

12 Oct 2007 - Sent Packet 3 back by special delivery

5 Nov 2007 - Interview in London - Approved without any hitches!

7 Nov 2007 - Visa and MBE arrived by SMS! :)

30 Jan 2008 - Fly to Michigan!! :)

*Note: Any delays in our case are only due to us taking things slowly

I'd definately go the CR-1 route. You're so close and it's much better!

Wife's visa journey:

03/19/07: Initial mailing of I-129F.

07/07/11: U.S. Citizenship approved and Oath Ceremony!

MIL's visa journey:

07/26/11: Initial mailing of I-130.

05/22/12: Interview passed!
